Ground Fault Recordings offers the following services:
· Professional quality CD and DVD replication using the industry standard, state of the art, injection molding manufacturing
process. These are not CD-r’s!
· Screen and offset disc printing for CD, DVD and blank CD-r’s.
· Printing of jewel case booklets, tray cards, wallets, digipaks, pocket folders, DVD Amaray case inserts and other printed material.
· Jewel case, insertion, shrink wrap and many other packaging solutions.
· Custom shape CDs.

Each
element (disc, printed material and packaging) is priced separately. To get your total package price add together
the following elements: disc price, disc film, printed booklet/tray card price
and jewel case packaging. This price
does not include shipping.

Disc Artwork
Your CD label artwork should be in the following file formats: Illustrator,
Photoshop, PDF**or Quark-Xpress
** Please use a high resolution of at least 300dpi with all fonts
embedded.

Printable Areas The inner print limit is 20mm diameter. The outer
print limit is 116mm diameter. Please insert registration marks.
Each CD order includes up to five standard PMS (Pantone Matching System)
colors. Up to six can be printed on a disc. Colors may vary slightly due to the
nature of the inks used as well as if you print on the reflective face of the
disc. To get the most accurate colors
you should print over a white base coat.

Offset Process
Printing (cyan, magenta, yellow and
black) CMYK printing is done with a white base coat, and therefore is priced as
a five-color job. If your image
contains pictures it is recommended that you get the five-color offset
printing.
Trapping of at least .5 point is necessary anywhere two or more colors touch on
the artwork.
True black cannot be achieved with CMYK
offset printing on disc face.

Fonts/Type such as san serif should be no smaller than 6 points.
Serif fonts should not be smaller than 4 points. If printed smaller, the detail
of the characters may be lost. Type dropping out of a 4-color process image
should be no smaller than 6 points. Type created by several layers of colors
should be no smaller than 8 points. Avoid using Trademark and Registration
symbols smaller than 6 points in height as they may not print.

Lines used in logos, borders, or anywhere on the printed
surface should not be less than .4 points.

Adding
a 5th spot color, metallic or varnish will raise the price by $300.

Printing Specifications

· Prices include electronic PDF proofs. Printed proofs will result in an additional charge.
- One-color jobs to be quoted on
an individual basis
Packaging
· Jewel case, insertion of booklet/tray card & poly wrap is $.30 each. White and special color trays will add .05 to the packaging cost. Digipak disc insertion and shrink wrap is .15 each. Other packaging must be quoted on an individual basis.
- If
you want to supply your own printed inserts please be sure they are cut to
the correct dimensions
- Unpackaged,
bulk CDs come wrapped in spindles of 125.
- 3”
CDs, Shape CDs and Business Card CDs come packaged in vinyl sleeves at no
extra charge.
Terms and conditions

Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is due upon submission of your CD-R
master and artwork. The balance must be
paid upon completion of the job. CDs will not be shipped until job is paid in
full. Credit is not an option.

Quantities: The pressing plant makes every effort to meet you
exact order quantity; however, the quantity of the finished product may vary up
to 10% from the order quantity. You must pay for overages, if any; under
quantities will be deducted from the total due.

Sales Tax: Products shipped to a

Warranty: The pressing plant warrants that the quality of production
copies will meet or exceed the quality of the original reference CD. The
pressing plant shall repair or replace any product that is defective in
materials or workmanship upon the arrival of said product to the plant via
Ground Fault Recordings. Except as stated in this paragraph, there are no other
warranties - expressed or implied.

Delivery: All fees for shipping are to be paid for by the
customer. Methods of delivery are USPS or UPS Ground. FedEx is also available
if you need it really fast.

Turnaround Time: If no problems arise (bad
master CD-r, improper or incomplete graphics files), the turnaround time is 2
weeks (10-12 working days).
Anti-Piracy
Ground Fault Recordings and its manufacturing plant comply with
the IRMA (International Recording Media Association) Anti-Piracy Program.
All plants are accredited, which means independently audited
content ownership verification procedures and stringent safeguards for your
assets
at critical steps in our process.
Two of the forms below are required to comply with IRMA
guidelines. Jobs will not be started
until these forms are completed, signed and mailed
to Ground Fault Recordings.
Checklist
To get your job started be sure to send the following:
- Your
master CD (two copies please). Keep
them clean and free of scratches.
- Your
art files on CD-r or zip disk.
- Printed
laser proofs of all of your artwork for reference.
- Completed
order, IPR and identification forms.
- 50%
deposit.
